Set in 22 hectares of gardens, farmland and woods is La Sovana, an old brick and stone farmhouse which has been carefully converted into 14 charming, cosy suites. All have wood beamed ceilings, small kitchenette, satellite TV, VCR, telephone and hairdryer.

With its friendly family atmosphere it is a truly wonderful place to relax - the grounds are a pure delight with lavender, rosemary and sage bushes, terracotta pots full of cascading geraniums and fruit-laden lemon trees.

There is a wonderful covered terrace by the pool where you can enjoy a traditional Tuscan dinner with some of the regions most renowned Chianti's - Nobile and Brunello.

For the more active there is a swimming pool, hydro-massage tub with large solarium, five-a-side football field, two tennis courts, a pond for sport fishing , cycle tracks and mountain bikes.
