On one of the most beautiful streets in Venice in the historical San Marco centre is Hotel Flora.
Adjacent to the Contarini Palace, the scene of William Shakespeare's famous
tragedy about Othello and Desdemona, the Hotel Flora was once the site of
the ancient School of Venetian Painting directed by an apprentice and disciple
of the celebrated Titian, in whose memory there is a mosaic portrait over
the entrance of the hotel.
Rich in its tradition for a tranquil and comfortable atmosphere its 44 rooms have been furnished with care by this family owned hotel, sister hotel to Locanda Novecento.
The garden is a small and peaceful oasis to take breakfast, or to enjoy a drink at your leisure. A true feel of Venetian life!
